The Selling Process
The multi-step process when selling your home is complex and calls for the expertise of a REALTOR®. You can feel comfort in knowing that I will be an invaluable source of knowledge, contacts and advice, helping you each step of the way from listing your property through to the sale, to get you the best result.
To help you get through the process, here is a general overview on what to expect during the selling process.
Step 1: CONSULTATION
I will thoroughly understand your needs, and then enter into an agency relationship with you. We will go through a number of forms and sign a Multiple Listing Contract.
Step 2: LIST AND MARKET YOUR PROPERTY
I will provide professional advice to market your property to its full potential, and optimize showings.
Step 3: SHOWINGS
I will coordinate showings of your property with prospective Realtors and their buyers. I will provide you with detailed feedback from the showings, and help you make any adjustments based on those insights if necessary.
Step 4: PRESENTATION OF OFFERS
I will advise you and negotiate an offer that is in your best interest.
Step 5: OFFER ACCEPTED
Once an offer is accepted it will likely come with Conditions/Subject Clauses. I will work with the buyer’s Realtor to help ensure that the Conditions/Subject Clauses are satisfied.
Step 6: REMOVE SUBJECTS
Your property is now SOLD!! Now it is time to arrange for movers, transfer utilities, insurance, forward mail, etc. You will also need to meet with your Lawyer or Notary to sign closing documents.
Step 8: COMPLETION
This is the official date that you receive the funds from the sale of your home.
Step 9: POSSESSION
This is the day I will deliver the keys to the Buyer’s Realtor.
